Colin Ferguson is best known to science fiction television fans as Jack Carter, the Sheriff of Eureka.
Ferguson was born in Montreal, Quebec in 1972 (July 22). Although he's appeared in several other television and movie roles, Eureka was Ferguson's first major role in a science fiction tv series.
Ferguson is a citizen of Canada, Britain, and America.
"Ferguson worked in a variety of occupations before he made acting his full-time profession. He taught high school when he was only 19, planted 3,000 trees a day in the Canadian north and even worked as a mannequin in store windows. An interesting coincidence, Colin Ferguson shares his name with the gunman who opened fire on the Long Island Rail Road in 1993.
