Jack Carter
Jack Carter is a major character from the Eureka universe.
Eureka Sheriff Jack Carter, also a U.S. Marshall, spends his days trying to keep the geniuses of Eureka from destroying the world as we know it.
While transporting his daughter, who was his prisoner at the time, from Seattle to Los Angeles, he's involved in a car accident that changes his life. Jack helps solve a deadly mystery and ends up being reassigned to Eureka where he works to oversee the safety, security, and secrecy of the little town that, to the rest of the world, doesn't exist.
