Episode Description
Dr. Keller (Jennifer) is working tirelessly to find a cure for Dr. Carson Beckett so he can be freed from the ancient statis chamber. When she starts to act strangely, everyone believes fatigue is the cause until one morning she's late for her shift. Teyla convinces Rodney to override the door controls to Jennifer's quarters.
What they find horrifies everyone.
Jennifer has become host to a pathogen that's growing out of her body and taking over her quarters, and the Altanis team, along with their new leader Richard Woolsey, must discover a way to stop the pathogen and save Dr. Keller.
Notable Characters
- Carson Beckett : Beckett is finally removed from the stasis chamber and possibly "cured". He also creates the phage that destroys the pathogen threatening the Atlantis base before returning to Earth to recover.
- Richard Woolsey : Assumes command of Atlantis and is quickly forced to make several tough decisions.
