Emilie Ullerup Leaving Sanctuary — Is "Ashley" Dead?
Unfortunately, there's not much to go on when it comes to determining if Sanctuary's Ashley has really died, but here's what I did find...
What's the deal with Ashley and Season 2 of Sanctuary? Has Emilie Ullerup left the series?
It's unfortunate when the first thing I have to do at the beginning of a new season of a favorite show is start looking for spoilers while trying to discover if a regular cast member is in or out and their character alive or dead. However, it happens, and this is one of those times. It seems Emilie Ullerup's Sanctuary character, Ashley, just might be dead and gone.

I took a half-hour out of my morning so I could see if maybe it was just a dramatic stunt on the part of the series, and here's what little I could find about Ashley and her future on Sanctuary.
One comment that particularly stood out in "Is Ashley Magnus really dead on 'Sanctuary'?" mentions something Amanda Tapping said about sci-fi in general. "Is anyone ever really dead. I mean that sincerely....the mythology is such that nobody is ever really dead."
Other sources mention that Damien Kindler (one of the show runners) has said that Ashley's future would be resolved in the first three episodes of the season (season 2). Since we all know how "Eulogy" ended, I'm don't think I'm going out on a limb when I say Ashley just might be gone as a regularly recurring character on Sanctuary.
Considering the end of "Eulogy," I think it's safe to say Ashley's dead—for now. Here's hoping we see her again soon. I do think the show will be less than it was without her regular presence.
