Merlin is a medieval period fantasy TV series based on the stories of Camelot and King Arthur. This retelling focuses on a young Merlin who is coming into his magic and learning what he can do with it, all the while keeping his magic a secret from everyone except his mentor, Gaius, or else face death, because magic is forbidden in Camelot under the rule of Arthur’s father King Uther.

Merlin Episodes
Merlin episodes range from lighthearted and playful to dark and dramatic, but somehow they always manage to infuse hope into a dreadful situation or bring depth to silliness. Merlin is a fun and exciting show well worth owning. I will be buying my own copy of the DVD set for Merlin season 3 shortly to complete my own collection–at least until season 4 airs and becomes available on DVD too!
